We craft and hand carve wood to any specification. Our completed projects extend from oak framing for houses, garden structures, renovation projects, new projects and flooring and staircases.

We use the most suitable timber for each job, taking into account the durability, strength and character needed for the finished piece. We source and use the highest grades of reclaimed timber for both restoration projects and construction of new pieces that need to fit into a old setting. The timber we use is well seasoned to prevent splitting and shrinkage and for external projects we use timber with high resinous properties to prevent decay. Our guarantee to our clients is to ensure that what we create will last and bring much satisfaction.

Our work is carried out by our skilled carpentry team using traditional methods to achieve the best possible results. Great precision and attention to detail is given to all our work as each member in our team takes great pride in their work and will only stop working on a piece when they are fully satisfied with the end result.

We specialise in oak and reclaimed pine and have a good stock of these timbers that are well seasoned. We also work in many other popular and also rare timbers that we buy in for each needed project. All our timber is sourced very carefully to ensure that it comes from sustainable forests or is reclaimed from demolition projects. In all cases the timber is seasoned well.

Adzing – no saw marks will be left with an adze, it will give a flat ‘polished’ surface.
